Morrow, William W
lawyer, jurist, congressman, was born July 15, 1843, near Milton, Ind. He moved with his parents to Illinois in 1845; and to California in 1859. He was appointed assistant United States attorney for California in 1870. He was elected to the fortyninth congress and re-elected in 1886 and in 1888. He was appointed United States district judge for the northern district of California by President Harrison in 1891; and United States circuit judge for the ninth judicial circuit by President Mc- Kinley in 1897.
