Mackey, Ansel Elliott
educator, college president, was born June 3, 1836, in Rensselaerville, N. Y. He is the president and proprietor of the Geneva Business and Training college of Geneva, N. Y., which was established in 1880. He has acquired success in educational work; and in literature has attained prominence as a prolific writer on educational topics.
He began teaching at the age of eighteen; was principal of the business department of Albany college; and in 1873 established a commercial school in the city of Hudson, N. Y. In 1880 he established the well known Geneva Business College and Short Hand institute of Geneva, N. Y., which has become one of the ramous institutions of the country for business, training.
