Brown, Milton
lawyer, legislator, was born May. 12, 1854, in Raysville, Ind.
He received his education in the common schools of Indiana and at Knightstown academy. During 1876-80 he was deputy recorder and the four succeeding years was clerk of the circuit court in Indiana. During 1892-96 he served in the Kansas legislature as state senator with distinction. He is one of the foremost lawyers of Kansas; was vice-president of the Medico-Legal congress; and a member of the committee of the American Bar association for the uniformity of land and code revision.
