Babcock, Charles Almanzo

edu- He cator, scientist, was born in 1849. graduated from Hamilton college, and received the degrees of A. M. and LL. B. He has filled the chair of science in the New York State Normal school; and has been superintendent of schools of Oil City, Pa. He has lectured on scientific subjects, and contributed valuable articles on science to current literature. He is the originator and founder of bird day in the schools of America; and is a member of the British Astronomical association.
