Blair, Chauncey B
banker, was born June 18, 1810, in Bianford, Mass. In 1861 he removed to Chicago, and established a private bank, which in 1865 he organized into the Merchants' National bank, becoming its president, which office he held until his death. He died Jan. 30, 1890.
BLAIR, MRS. ELIZA (NELSON), author, was born in New Hampshire. She is a writer of Manchester, N. H. Her novel, 'Lisbeth Wilson, gives an excellent picture of New Hampshire rural life a half century ago.
