Paulus, Christopher

accountant, state legislator, was born April 17, 1852, in Milwaukee, Wis. For four years he was clerk of the circuit and county courts of Milwaukee county, and during 1890-94 was a member and secretary of the board of trustees of the Asylum for the Chronic Insane of Milwaukee county.

In 1895 and 1896 he served with distinction as a member of the Wisconsin state assembly; and took an active part in passing several bills of importance to the welfare of his state.
