Hussey, John M
educator, lecturer, college president, was born Sept. 22, 1863, in Stanberry, Mo. He received his education at the Grand River college, and in the Missouri normal schools. He has taught country schools, graded and high schools; and has been conductor of nearly a score of county institutes in Nebraska, Missouri and Iowa. He is considered one of the most successful private normal school men in the west; and is now the president and proprietor of the Western Normal college, and the Shenandoah Commercial Institute and Musical Conservatory of Shenandoah, Iowa.
