suffragist, was born July 7, 1827, in New York city. She was the founder of the New York Infirmary for Women and Children; and has been trustee of the New York Colored Orphan Asylum. She is a member of the Association for Advancement of Women; a member of the Woman's Christian Temperance union of the state of New Jersey; vicepresident of the National Woman's Suffrage society; and a member of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children; and of Dumb Animals..
