Dougherty, Thomas E

merchant, manufacturer, was born in 1858, in Port Byron, N. Y. Since 1895 he has been devoting nearly all his time to an extensive oil business in Indiana. He joined the Ashland club of Chicago in 1890, and served on the board of directors for two successive years. In 1895 he was chosen president of the club, and made one of the best executive officers the organization ever had. He is also a member of the Chicago Athletic and Illinois clubs.
