Clark, William Arthur

educator, was born May 23, 1853, in Manchester, Ohio. He received his education at the National Normal university and the Harvard university. He has received the degrees B. A., A. M., and Ph. D. He has been superintendent of various public schools, and for two years had charge of the Ohio Soldiers' and Sailors' Orphan Home schools of Xenia, Ohio; professor of mathematics in the National Normal university; and professor of psychology in the Nebraska Normal school. He is a member of the Nebraska Academy of Science and one of its board of directors.

His work in the normal school has been principally in psychology and the history of education.
