Clark, William Adolphus

author, was born Dec. 2, 1825, in New Orleans, La. He received his education in various institutions; and attended the Boston Latin school, and the Dane Law school of Cambridge, Mass. He has been a merchant in New Orleans, La.; a miner in Southern California; and has filled numerous public positions of trust and honor. He is the author of a volume a of select poems entitled Intellectual People, and has contributed extensively, both prose and verse, to the leading newspapers and magazines in America.
