Cannon, Henry W

banker, was born in 1850, in Delhi, N. Y. He organized the Lumberman's National bank, of which he was made cashier. He was also secretary of the chamber of commerce of Stillwater; and secretary, treasurer and general manager of the water and gas companies of the city. In 1884 he was appointed comptroller of the currency in the United States treasury at Washington; and resigned in 1886 to accept the position of vice-president of the National Bank of the Republic of New York city.
