Chapman, Henry

lawyer, jurist, state senator, congressman, was born in 1805, in Pennsylvania. He was a member of the state senate for three years, from January, 1843, and president judge of the fifteenth judicial district of Pennsylvania for some years after leaving the senate. He was a representative in the thirty-fifth congress from Pennsylvania; and was elected president judge of the seventh judicial district of Pennsylvania in 1861.

CHAPMAN, HENRY CADWALADER, physician, author, was born Aug. 17, 1845, in Philadelphia, Pa. He is a noted physician of Philadelphia, and the author of Evolution of Life; and History of the Discovery of the Circulation of the Blood.
