Huff, George Franklin
banker, congressman, was born July 16, 1842, in Norristown, Pa. He is at present engaged in the banking business at Greensburg, Pa. He was elected to the senate of Pennsylvania in 1884, and represented the thirty-ninth senatorial district in that body until the close of the term ending in 1888. He was a member of the fifty - second congress; was nominated by the state convention at Harrisburg in 1894 as representative at large; and elected to the fifty-fourth congress as a republican.
