Brown, Thomas S

lawyer, author, was born June 5, 1852, in Zanesfield, Ohio.

In 1873 he graduated from the Earlham college of Richmond, Ind.; and was admitted to the bar in 1881. He practiced law in Bellefontaine, Ohio, until 1889, when he moved to Topeka, Kan. In 1893 he continued his law practice in Kansas City, Mo., giving special attention to patent law and law of municipal bonds. He is the author of a number of articles and papers on Tariff and other economic and legal questions; and many poems of rare merit have emanated from his pen.
