Wall, Joseph Baisden

lawyer, legislator, jurist, was born Jan. 23, 1847, in Hernando county, Fla. He received the rudiments of his education in the common schools, and subsequently attended the university of Virginia. He soon attained eminence as a brilliant lawyer of Tampa, Fla.; was state's attorney of the sixth circuit of Florida; and the first president of the State Bar association. In 1889 he served with distinction in the Florida state senate; was president of that body, and is now judge of the criminal court.
