Broadus, John Albert
clergyman, author, was born Jan. 24, 1827, in Virginia.
He was a baptist clergyman, and president of the Southern Baptist Theological seminary. He was the author of Preparation and Delivery of Sermons; Lectures on Preaching; Sermons and Addresses; and Jesus of Nazareth. He died in 1895.
BROADWATER, CHARLES ARTHUR, banker, railroad president, was born Sept. 25, 1840, in St. Charles, Mo. In 1882 he founded the Montana National bank, of which he was president. The Montana Central railroad, of which he was the president, was built by him, and he was president of banks in Great Falls, Livingston and Neihart, and otherwise active in affairs. He died May 24, 1892.
