Barnes, Thurlow Weed

president of corporations, was born June 28, 1853, in Albany, N. Y. In 1876 he graduated from Harvard university. His life has been devoted to literary work and politics. He is the president of corporations in New York city. He was chairman of the Albany general committee in 1886; traveled in Europe in 1882, and made the tour around the world in 1884-85. He is a grandson of Thurlow Weed, and is the author of the second volume of the Life of Thurlow Weed in two volumes, and of Souvenir of Albany Bicentennial.
