Zollars, Allen
lawyer, legislator, jurist, was born in Licking county, Ohio.
In 1864 he graduated from the Denison university of Granville, Ohio, receiving the degree of A. B.; and subsequently received from the same institution the degrees of A. M. and LL. D. In 1866 he was admitted to the bar, having received the degree of LL. D. from the university of Michigan; and he has since attained eminence as one of the foremost lawyers of Indiana at Fort Wayne. In 1868 he was elected a member of the Indiana state legislature; and in 1882 was elected judge of the supreme court of Indiana; and his written opinions show great research, industry and care.
