Young, William James
was born Nov. 8, 1842, in Pittsburg, Pa. During 1873-91 he has been consecutively cashier, vice-president and president of the Oil City Trust company of Oil City, Pa.; and since 1890 has been the vice-president, general manager and treasurer of the Forest Oil company of Pittsburg, Pa., the largest oil producing corporation in the state of Pennsylvania, with a capital of five and a half millions. Since 1893 he has been president of the Washington Oil company, and also since 1893 has been president of the Taylorstown Natural Gas company. He is prominent in the public affairs of Pittsburg, and a member of several fraternal orders.
