Winslow, John Bradley

lawyer, jurist, was born Oct. 4, 1851, in Livingston county, N. Y. In 1871 he graduated from the Racine college of Wisconsin; and in 1875 graduated from the law department of the university of Wisconsin. In 1883 he was elected circuit judge of the first judicial circuit; and was re-elected and served until 1891. He was then appointed associate justice of the supreme court; and in 1895 was reelected for a full term. In 1889 he was appointed special lecturer on criminal practice in the college of Law of the university of Wisconsin.
