Waldo, Samuel Putnam

author, was born in 1780 in Connecticut. He was a writer of Hartford, Conn.; and the author of Tour of President Monroe in 1818; Memoirs of General Andrew Jackson; Life of Stephen Decatur; and Biographical Sketches. He died in March, 1826, in Hartford, Conn.
