Tucker, Willis Gaylord

educator, journalist, was born Oct. 31, 1849, in Albany, N. Y. In 1881 he was one of the founders of the Albany College of Pharmacy, and became professor of chemistry, in addition to which, since 1883, he has been its president. He was appointed analyst to the state board of health in 1881; and he has been registrar of the Albany Medical college since 1882, and secretary of its Alumni association since its organization in 1874. He was editor of the Albany Medical Annals in 1882-87.
