TABER, CHARLES A. M., author, poet, was born April 3, 1824, in Rochester, Mass. He has published Essays on Prevailing Winds, Ocean Currents, and Frigid Periods. He is the author of a volume of poems entitled Rhymes from a Sailor's Journal.
