Taylor, William
physician, state legislator, congressman, was born in 1793, in Connecticut. He was president of the New York Medical society; and was a practicing physician for fifty years. He was for many years president of the board of supervisors of the state of New York.
He was a member of the state legislature in 1841, 1842, 1852 and 1853, in the two latter years representing New York city.
He was a representative in congress from New York from 1833 to 1839. He died Sept. 6, 1865, in Manlius, N. Y.
