South, Jerry Curtis

lawyer, state senator, lieutenant-governor, was born March 24, 1866, in Arkansas. He attended the Kentucky Military institute, the university of Louisville, and the university of Virginia. He has served three times as a member of the house of representatives of Arkansas; has been a member of the state senate, and served with distinction as lieutenant-governor. In 1892 and in 1896 he was a delegate to the national democratic convention; and has filled various other public positions of honor. He is one of the foremost lawyers of Arkansas at Mountain Home. He is the author of a genealogical work on the South family.
