Sanger, Jane
business woman, poet, was born in 1829 in Nelson, N. Y. She is the owner of a photograph gallery, and part-owner of a book bindery at Fort Scott, Kan. She is the author of a large number of poems; has contributed extensively to current literature; and her political poems have attracted much attention. a SANGSTER, MRS. MARGARET ELIZ- ABETH [MUNSON], journalist, author, poet, was born Feb. 22, 1838, in New Rochelle, N. Y. She is a journalist of New York city, editor of Harper's Bazar from 1889, and a popular verse-writer whose domestic poems display sentiment of very genuine kind. Her writings in verse comprise, On the Road Home; Easter Bells; Poems of the Household; Home Fairies and Heart Flowers. She has also written a Manual of Missions of the Reformed Church, and several books for girls, including Hours with Girls; Home and Heaven; Splendid Times; Five Happy Weeks; May Stanhope and her Friend; Miss Dewbury's School; Little Knights and Ladies; and Maidie's Problem.
