Parker, Theodore
clergyman, author, was born Aug. 24, 1810, in Lexington, Mass. He was a famous unitarian clergyman of West Roxbury, Mass. He was the author of Miscellaneous Writings; Sermons on Theism, Atheism, and Popular Occasional Theology; Sermons and Speeches; Matters Pertaining to Religion; Additional Sermons and Speeches; Sermons for the Times; Experience as a Minister; West Roxbury Sermons; Prayers; Lessons from the World of Matter and the World of Mind; Historic Americans; and Views of Religion. His complete works, as edited by Frances Power Cobbe, fill twelve volumes. died May 10, 1860, in Florence, Italy.
