Parker, James
merchant, state legislator, congressman, was born March 3, 1776, in Bethlehem, N. J. He was a member of the New Jersey legislature in 1806- 18; and was a representative in congress from 1833 to 1837. He served as one of the commissioners on the part of New Jersey to settle the boundary and jurisdiction between New York and New Jersey. He died April 1, 1868, in Perth Amboy, N. J. PARKER, JAMES CUTTER DUNN, musician, author, was born June 2, 1828, in Boston, Mass. He is a Boston musician; and the author of Manual of Harmony; and Theoretical and Practical Harmony.
