O'Gorman, Henry

lawyer, jurist, was born April 8, 1847, in Boston, Mass.

He received the rudiments of his education in the public schools of St. Paul, Minn., and attended the Washington university of St. Louis, Mo. He served two years as sheriff of Ramsey county, Minn., and for six years was judge of probate. He is one of the leading lawyers of the west at St. Paul, Minn.

O HARA, JAMES E., lawyer, congressman, was born Feb. 26, 1844, in New York city. He was elected a representative from North Carolina to the forty-eighth and forty-ninth congresses.
