Niles, Henry Clay
lawyer, legislator, jurist, was born Oct. 21, 1850, in Kosciusko, Miss. In 1878 and in 1886 he served as a member of the Mississippi state legislature and in 1880 was a delegate to the national republican convention. He is a successful lawyer of his native city; was United States district attorney for the northern district of Mississippi in 1890-91; and in 1892 was appointed by President Harrison as United States district judge for the northern and southern districts of Mississippi.
