Murray, David Rodman

soldier, lawyer, legislator, was born March 13, 1847, in Cloverport, Ky. He graduated from the law department of the university of Michigan. He served in the union army as adjutant of the seventeenth regiment Kentucky volin October, 1865, in mustered out was in October, 1865, in Louisville, Ky.; and subsequently acting assistant adjutant-general of the was second Kentucky brigade. During 1877-81 he served with distinction as a state senator in the Kentucky legislature. He is one of the leading lawyers of Kentucky, and resides in his native city.
