Morris, Freeman P

lawyer, legislator, was born March 19, 1854, in Cook county, Ill. He received his education in the Blue Island High school, the Cook County Normal school, and the Northwestern university. He is a prominent lawyer of Watseka, Ill., where for many years he has been president of the board of education. He has been a member of the thirty-fourth, thirty-sixth, thirtyeighth, thirty-ninth, and fortieth general assemblies of the Illinois state legislature, and served as chairman of the joint and house caucus for three sessions. He was a delegate to the democratic national convention in 1896; and is a member of the Illinois National guard, with rank of colonel.
