Milledoler, Philip
college president, was born Sept. 22, 1775, in Rhinein Rhinebeck, N. Y. He was for several years presyears president of Rutgers col- Rutgers college, New Jersey; and was one of the founders of the American Bible society. In 1800 he ciety. moved to Philadelphia; was settled over the Third Presbyterian church; and in 1804 became pastor of the Collegiate Presbyterian churches in New York city, with special care of the Rutgers Street church in 1805. His publications include many sermons and addresses. He died Sept. 23, 1852, on Staten Island, N. Y. , N. Y.
