Meighen, Benjamin F

lawyer, was born Oct. 31, 1847, in Greene county, Pa.

He attended the South Western Normal college of New California, Pa.; and in 1873 graduated from the Waynesburg college with the degree of A. M. In 1875 he was admitted to the bar; has been prosecuting attorney of Marshall county, W. Va., for eight years; and has a large practice in Moundsville. For two years he was chairman of the republican state executive committee, and subsequently was a candidate for judge of the circuit court.
