Mcreavy, John

merchant, manufacturer, state senator, was born Feb. 23, 1840, in Northfield, Maine. He received his education in the public schools and academies, and in 1863 settled in the territory of Washington. In 1869 he was a member of the house of the territorial legislature; of the council in 1870; of the house in 1877; of the council in 1885, and a member of the constitutional convention in 1889, and of the first legislature of the state. For many years he was a successful merchant in Union City, and is now in the milling business.
