Mckeever, Isaac
naval officer, was born in April, 1793, in Pennsylvania. He entered the United States navy as midshipman in 1809; and was made lieutenant in 1814. He died April 1, 1856, in Norfolk, Va.
MCKEIGHAN, WILLIAM ARTHUR, lawyer, jurist, congressman, was born Jan. 19, 1842, in Cumberland county, N. J. He moved to Nebraska in 1880, and settled on a farm near Red Cloud. He was elected county judge of Webster county in 1885.
He was elected to the fifty-second, and reelected to the fifty-third congress as an independent.
