Markham, Ernest Arthur
physician, legislator, was born Oct. 16, 1853, in Windsor, Vt. He graduated from the Eclectic Medical college of New York city, in which institution he was professor of chemistry in 1885-87. He received the degrees of A. B. and A. M. from the Wesleyan university, from which institution he was a graduate. In 1895-96 he served as a representative in the Connecticut general assembly. He is a successful physician of Durham, Conn., where he has filled numerous public positions of honor.
He is a genealogist of note and the author of a work on the Markham Family.
