Mandeville, Giles Henry

clergyman, college president, was born Dec. 12, 1825, in New york city. He was educated at Rutgers college, the Theological seminary of New Brunswick, N. J., from which institution he graduated in 1851. He has received the degrees of D. D., and LL. D.; and has attained success as one of the leading clergymen of the reformed church. He has filled pastorates in Flushing, Newburgh, and Harlem, N. Y.; has been president of Hope college, and corresponding secretary of the board of education of the reformed church of America.
