Maloney, John Barthum

physician, surgeon, was born in November, 1867, in Key West, Fia. After receiving a liberal education in the Bingham school of North Carolina, he attended the medical department of the university of Pennsylvania. He was resident physician of St. Agnes' hospital of Philadelphia, and is now a prominent physician of his native city. He has been city health officer, president of the board of public instruction of Monroe county; medical examiner of several large insurance companies and surgeon to the fifth battalion Florida state troops.
