Laflin, Addison H

manufacturer, state senator, congressman, was born Oct. 24, 1823, in Lee, Mass. In 1837 he was elected to the senate of. New York. In 1864 he was elected a representative from that state to the thirty-ninth congress, and was elected to the fortieth and fortyfirst congresses. LA FOLLETTE, ROBERT M., lawyer, congressman, was born June 14, 1855, in Primrose, Wis. He was elected district attorney of Dane county in 1880, and reelected in 1882. In 1884 he was elected a representative from Wisconsin to the forty-ninth congress; and was re-elected to the fiftieth and fifty-first congresses.
