King, William Henry

lawyer, jurist, state legislator, congressman, was. born in June, 1863, in Fillmore City, Utah.

In 1882 he was elected to various offices in Fillmore City and Millard county. He was elected a member of the Utah legislature in 1885, and re-elected two years later. In 1891 he was elected to the territorial legislature, and was selected as president of the council or upper house. He was also elected county attorney of Utah county, and served in that capacity for four years; was city attorney of Provo City for a number of years; and in 1894 was appointed associate justice of the supreme court of Utah. He was elected to the fifty-fifth congress as a democrat.
