Hutchins, Wells A
lawyer, state legislator, congressman, was born Oct. 8, 1818, in Hartford, Ohio. He was elected to the Ohio legislature in 1851; and in 1862 was appointed one of the six provost-marshals for Ohio. He was elected a representative from Ohio to the thirtyeighth congress. HUTCHINSON, A. C., railroad president, was born Fep. 2, 1832, in Brooklyn, N. Y. From 1882 to 1892 he was president of the Houston and Texas Central railway; and has been president of numerous other railroads.
