Holley, Henry W

poet, was born May 5, 1828, in Pierrepont Manor, N. Y.

From an early age he contributed extensively to periodical literature. He is the author of three poetical works entitled Moods and Emotions in Rhyme; The Politicians and Other Poems; and What I Think, a satire. He is also the author of two works in prose entitled The Higginsville. Papers; and Random Shots As an author Mr. Holat Living Targets. ley has achieved great success, and the press speaks in glowing terms of both his prose and verse. His poems have been given a place in Poets of America and other standard works. He died June 21, 1897, in Everett, Wash.
