Henshaw, David
druggist, author, was born April 2, 1791, in Leicester, Mass.
For nine years he was collector of customs for the port of Boston; and in 1843 was appointed secretary of the navy.
He wrote Letters on the Internal Improvement and Commerce of the West. He died Nov. 11, 1852, in Leicester, Mass.
HENSHAW, JOHN PRENTISS KEW- LEY, bishop, author, was born June 13, 1792, in Middletown, Conn. He was the first protestant episcopal bishop of Rhode Island; and the author of Theology for the People; Lessons in Elocution; On Confirmation; and The Work of Christ's Living Body. He died July 19, 1852, in Frederick, Md.
