Henry, Patrick
soldier, lawyer, congressman, was born Feb. 12, 1843, in Madison county, Miss. In 1861 he enlisted in the confederate service in the sixth Mississippi infantry regiment; served through the war, and surrendered at Greensboro, N. C., in 1865, as major of the fourteenth Mississippi regiment. He was a member of the Mississippi legislature in 1878 and 1890, and delegate from the state at large to the constitutional convention in 1890. He was elected to the fifty-fifth congress as a democrat.
