Hall, Charles Winslow

lawyer, author. He is a lawyer of Minnesota , and the author of Arctic Rovings; Twice Taken; Adrift in the Icefields; and Drift- Drifting Around the World.

HALL, CHRISTOPHER WEBBER, geologist, author, was born Feb. 28, 1845, in Wardsborough, Vt. He is a professor of geology and mineralogy in the university of Minnesota at Minneapolis, from 1878, and dean of the college of Engineering, Metallurgy, and Mechanic Arts. He has written many valuable professional papers, and a History of the University of Minnesota.
