Guy, Wilfred R
lawyer, legislator, was born Feb. 12, 1860, in Elkton, Ohio .
He received his education at the Mount Union college, Ohio, and graduated from the university of Michigan in 1887. He has attained success as an eminent lawyer of San Diego, Cal. He was a member of the California state legislature during the sessions of 1895 and 1897, and during the latter session was chairman of the committee on ways and means, and was the leader of the republican majority of the house. While a member of the legislature he rendered valuable service to the cause of education by having established the State Normal school of San Diego.
