Goodwin, George Francis

lawyer, prohibitionist, was born Jan. 12, 1849, in Groton, Vt. In 1880 he was state's attorney of Mower county, Minn.; attorneygeneral of North Dakota in 1889, and is now a prominent prohibition worker of Salt Lake City, Utah.

GOODWIN, MRS. HANNAH ELIZA- BETH BRADBURY, author, was born in 1827 in Massachusetts. She is a Boston writer for young people, among whose works are Madge; Christine's Fortune; Dorothy Gray; Dr. Howells's Family; and Fortunes of Miss Follen. She died in 1893.
