Gilbert, Parmius C

educator, lawyer, was born May 24, 1865, in Newberg, Mich. He attended the public schools of his county, and graduated from the high school of Traverse City. He then attended the commercial department of the Normal school of Valparaiso, Ind.; and subsequently graduated from the law department of the university of Michigan. He entered into educational work as a teacher in the public schools of his native city, where he has also attained success as an able lawyer in probate practice and commercial law. He has served with distinction as city attorney; and is a member of the board of education of Traverse City, Mich.
